Royal Avenue has been a location for many films and television programmes including ‘The Avengers’ and Joseph Losey’s ‘The Servant’. A scene in Stanley Kubrick’s ‘A Clockwork Orange’ was filmed in The Chelsea Drugstore (now a branch of McDonalds) at the corner of Royal Avenue and the King’s Road.
2023: have an excellent post describing this, only partially completed, 1670s scheme to build a grand route from Royal Hospital Chelsea to Kensington Palace.
