Sergeant Frederick William Lloyd

Frederick William Lloyd was born circa 1890/1891.

He was a Sergeant in the Royal Marine Police, service number CH/RMP/X 439, when he died, aged 50 years, as a result of enemy action whilst on duty in the Royal Victoria Yard on 19 March 1941 and was on 2 April 1941 in Plot G, Grave 290, in Grove Park Cemetery, Marvels Lane, London, SE12 9PU. As he has no headstone, of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission's Screen Wall.

He is shown incorrectly as Lloyd E W on the Royal Victoria Yard war memorial that is located at The Colonnade, Grove Street, London, SE8 and as Sgt. F.W. Lloyd RMP on the  inside Lewisham Shopping Centre, Molesworth Street, London, SE13 7HB. He is also commemorated on the  that tells  and on the .
