Shelley Marie Mather

Shelley Marie Mather was born on 27 January 1979 in New Zealand the daughter of John Mather and Kathryn Gilkison. She grew up in Auckland, New Zealand and holding joint New Zealand and Irish citizenship came to the UK in 2002. She lived in London and was an administrator. Her obituary can be found on the .

She died, aged 26 years, on 7 July 2005 when travelling in the underground tunnel of the Piccadilly Line on the London Underground Railway between King's Cross and Russell Square underground stations that was targeted by a suicide bomber. The narrative verdict of her death can be found on the .

Her body was returned to New Zealand for her funeral service at St-Matthew-in-the-City church, Auckland, on 30 July 2005.
