Shuffrey, Leonard

Architect and architectural designer. His output is often found in decorative schemes with William Morris, Edward Ould, William De Morgan, and other preeminent Arts & Crafts and late Pre-Raphaelite decorative artists. He also collaborated with Aston Webb.

Born Oxfordshire. Died at at Thorncote, the 1888 house he had built for himself in Edgehill Road, Ealing. Grade II listed, . The Shuffrey family remained at Thorncote until the 1950s.
