Laryngologist (ear, nose & throat surgeon) to royalty. Born Wales. Studied at St Barts, and in Edinburgh. Surgeon at the Prince of Wales General Hospital in Tottenham and had a private practice at 18 Upper Wimpole Street where he also lived. Consultant to the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden where he treated the singers. Treated members of the royal family including King George V. In 1921 he founded Port Regis School at Kingsgate, Broadstairs and his son-in-law became the first Headmaster, surely not co-incidental. Died Broadstairs.
