Squadron Quartermaster Corporal. Born Braintree, Essex, the son of Edward George Bright and Phyliss Ruby Bright, née Layzell. He married Marion E Rees in 1967 in Windsor, Berkshire and they had a daughter and a son. He was the standard bearer in the Blues & Royals of the Household Cavalry when he was involved in the Hyde Park bomb attack dying of his injuries three days later, aged 36 years.
