The Angel, Enfield

The Angel, Enfield

Former inn. It's impossible to confirm the name from the pub sign in this photograph, but locates it as opposite the Regal Cinema, just off Fore Street, which coincides with the location of the plaque. And the roofline of the terrace matches.

The top right corner of shows the building. It was clearly demolished to allow what was then Silver Street, now Sterling Way/North Circular, to be widened.
