Plaque

The Angel, Enfield

Inscription

Site of "The Angel" where met the Stamford Hill Green Lanes Turnpike Trust, 1713 - 1826.
London Borough of Enfield

Site: The Angel, Enfield (1 memorial)

N18, Fore Street, 183

This plaque doesn't have a lot going for it. Marooned at a busy, polluted intersection, on the end of an elegant but truncated, terrace, a few of the letters have fallen off and it has a lamppost stuck in front of it, making it impossible to get a good photograph.
