The John Roan Foundation

The John Roan Foundation

Charity. John Roan who died in 1644, was Yeoman of Harriers to King Charles I. He bequeathed his estate to educate the town-born children of Greenwich. It owns several properties in Greenwich, the income from which allows the trust to assist students’ education by helping the John Roan school to fund projects which fall outside of State provision.
