Timothy Paul Gilbert was born in 1966. He was married with four children and moved to America in 1998. The family lived in Lebanon, New Jersey, USA.

He was an employee of Cantor Fitzgerald and died, aged 35 years, on 11 September 2001 whilst working in company's offices located on Floors 101-105, North Tower, 1 World Trade Centre, Manhattan, New York, USA.
