Trant family: John, Vivian, Sophie and Amina

Categories: Tragedy

Group

This is a shockingly sad story.

Sophie, 31, was the daughter of John, 71, and Vivian, 57.  Amina, 16 months, was Sophie's daughter. Sophie's husband, 42, who already had a record of violence towards her, stabbed them all to death. This happened in John and Vivian's home in Dagmar Terrace in October 1995.  The murderer (whom we won't dignify with a name) went on the run but was captured and sentenced to 4 life sentences.
