Union of Post Office Workers / Union of Communication Workers

In 1919 the Union of Post Office Workers (UPW) was founded. It later changed its name to the Communication Workers' Union and dissolved in 1995.

Early 1930s they outgrew their headquarters in Cromwell Road, Kensington, and moved to what is now Metropolitan Crescent in Clapham - shown in this image.
