, 18 March 2005, has "Body set up to lead renewal work in Woolwich: A body has been set up to lead renewal work in Woolwich in south-east London. The Woolwich Regeneration Agency will co-ordinate the redevelopment of the town and its surrounding area, which leads into the Thames Gateway. It will absorb the Woolwich Development Agency's regeneration programmes and town centre management. The agency's director and team are currently being appointed and it is scheduled to be fully operational by the summer."
We think it has now (2024) ceased to exist.
