Inscription

Councillor Angela Hooper CBE, 1937 - 2010, champion of Westminster's heritage and built environment for 25 years.
City of Westminster

Site: Angela Hooper (1 memorial)

SW1, Victoria Street, 70, Angela Hooper Place

Most if not all of Victoria Street has been rebuilt over recent years and Westminster Council has taken the opportunity to name a space after one of their own. One wonders what Hooper, with her conservation and heritage background, would have thought of what's been done to Victoria Street, here, literally, in her name.
