This plaque marks the completion of the modernisation of the subway and concourse areas of Bank Station carried out by London Underground Limited in collaboration with the Corporation of London.
Unveiled by the Rt. Hon. The Lord Mayor, Alderman Sir Roger Cork, 21.10.1997.

Mike Ashworth of TfL kindly notified us that this Blitz plaque had been unveiled. It's one of a set of 5, all listed at Balham Station.
These two plaques are located at the Central line ticket hall, between exits 7 and 8, the nearest entrance from the street being the one at the junction of Walbrook and Queen Victoria Street.
