Monument

Bombs 7/7/05 - Tavistock Square

Erection date: 12/9/2018

Inscription

7 July 2005 - opposite this place a bus was bombed killing
{a list of 13 names - illegible on our visit due to the flowers. See Subjects commemorated for the list.}

All the text is turned sideways, so it avoids being upside down, whether viewed from inside or outside the garden. This memorial, while suitably sombre, will never be a social media hit - it's just not photogenic.
