Cooks' Hall - blue plaque

Erection date: 1985

Inscription

Site of Cooks Hall, destroyed by fire 1771.
Corporation of the City of London

{On the impressed stamp at the lower right corner:}
96 Kingston Road, London Pottery, London SW19

{Below that stamp, hand-written:}
26/12/85 David Birch.

2022:  drew our attention to the stamp and the text below.  Very few plaques credit their creators, so this on a City of London plaque is extremely rare.

Site: Cooks' Hall & St Mark's Hospital (3 memorials)
