‘Remembering the doctors who died while working in the COVID-19 pandemic’
The covid-19 PANDEMIC HAD A PROFOUND EFFECT ON ALL HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS. Many members and fellows of the RCP were infected while caring for patients, both in the UK and across the globe.
This memorial remembers and honours those physicians who died and is intended as a point of reflection for all those affected by the pandemic.
Unveiled by Professor Sir Christopher Whitty FRCP on 6 September 2022
Funded by a generous donation from the Jerwood Foundation with additional funding from Professor Chuka Nwokolo CBE FRCP, Sir Andrew Goddard FRCP.
