Tree

Dame Elizabeth Lane

Inscription

These trees were given by Dame Elizabeth Lane DBE in memory of her husband Randall Lane CBE, barrister-at-Law, Inner Temple, who died 16th August 1975.

Site: Dame Elizabeth Lane (1 memorial)

EC4, Middle Temple Lane, Temple Church - garden

The plaque can just be seen in our photo, on the wall in shadow, between the wide arched openings. The pedestrian in our photo was directly above it 3 or 4 strides back. Luckily the gates that you can see in the foreground were open when we visited but possibly only due to maintenance works. A notice suggests that they are normally locked.
