Site: Dositey Obradovich (1 memorial)

EC4, Clement's Lane

Plaque-wise this is a busy little corner. Just to the south of this plaque there are three other mildly interesting, non-memorial, plaques. One is high up and glazed which makes it difficult to read, but we have valiantly persevered so you don't have to. It has been erected by the church, concerned to legally protect the boundaries of its property: "Saint Clement near Eastcheap. The whole of the ground of this court extending eastward from this inscription is the freehold property of this parish. John Symonds Marratt, William Pottinger – churchwardens. January 1st 1859."
The second plaque is also legalistic and reads "City of London Police. This street is within the Special Limits of the Metropolitan Streets Act, 1867."
And lastly a nice old sign with a finger pointing to "Church Court entrance to 37-41, Gracechurch Street."

has a post all about the church St Clement Eastcheap, seen to the right of our picture.
