Eagle House
A fine Queen Anne house built in the Dutch style in 1705, probably for Fernando Mendez, a royal physician. The land was originally owned by Walter Raleigh. In Victorian times, it was part of the Holborn Union Workhouse School.

Eagle House can be seen on this and you can see it still there on this surrounded by the Holborn Union workhouse and the Holborn Union Industrial Schools.
