Plaque

Freddie Mercury - Gladstone Avenue

Erection date: 1/9/2016

Inscription

Freddie Mercury (Fred Bulsara) 1946 - 1991, singer and songwriter, lived here.
English Heritage

Plaque unveiled by Mercury's sister and Brian May. We thought it strange that English Heritage decided that his real first name was Fred instead of Farrokh or Faroukh (depending on source) but perhaps this was the name he used when he lived here.
