To the memory of those enployees of Horatio Myer & Co.Ltd. who laid down their lives in the Great War, 1914 - 1918.

At some point between the 60s and 80s the memorial was moved to the company's Cambridgeshire site. When the business was sold Jonathan Myer, great-grandson of the firm’s founder, arranged for the memorial to return to its home.

Naomi Klein has researched  in addition to many more on other Vauxhall war memorials for her book .

These buildings housed the former Horatio Myer and Company bedding factory. The memorial is under cover, on the wall of the arched entrance to the right of our photo.
