Lambeth Walk murals - 04 Baylis

Inscription

The Old Vic
Royal Shakespeare Co.
Lilian Baylis
Much Ado About Nothing

The Old Vic is in Lambeth so we understand the inclusion of the theatre and Lilian Baylis.  And yes a lot of Shakespeare has been performed there including Much Ado About Nothing.  But we cannot find any specific connection between Lambeth and the, Stratford-upon-Avon-based, Royal Shakespeare Company; nor with that particular play.

Site: Lambeth Walk murals (5 memorials)

SE11, Lambeth Walk

We've numbered these murals clockwise starting at the north-east corner of this unnamed open square. Presumably built to be a vibrant community space, lined with useful shops. Perhaps a name would have helped?
