Lilian Baylis, born 1874.
A niece of Emma Cons, Lilian flourished as a theatrical producer who revived the Old Vic Theatre and Sadlers Wells Theatre, as well as founding the fore runners of English National Opera, the National Theatre and The Royal Ballet.

These mosaics are on the Maufe 1937 extension to Morley College, all that remains of the pre-WW2 buildings.
