The Mountbatten Copse
These flowering trees, planted 19 November 1981 by HRH The Prince of Wales KG, Commodore Royal Thames Yacht Club, commemorate Earl Mountbatten of Burma, Commodore 1946 - 1970, Admiral 1970 to 1979.

This memorial was planted just over two years after the violent death of Mountbatten.
