{Rear of fountain:} This fountain was erected in affectionate memory of Mrs. Woodford Fawcett by many neighbours and friends who greatly valued her philanthropic and Christian work.

Site: Mrs Woodford Fawcett fountain (1 memorial)

SE27, Norwood High Street, St Luke's Church

The drinking fountain was demolished by a vehicle crashing into it on Sunday 13 October 2024. Better a memorial fountain than a person. The Council planned to reinstate the fountain on or about Monday 6 October 2025.
