During most of the period specified on the plaque Turner was living in Twickenham with his father, who died in 1829.
The plaque is in the pavement in front of the pillar box.
This floor plaque is in the main piazza, near the Waitrose end. 21 November 2014 we found this bouquet of flowers beside the plaque.
On-line we've found the date on this plaque transcribed as 1831, 1881, and 1931, so we returned to make certain. Definitely 1931.
