Prof. Sir Ernst Chain FRS, 1906 - 1979, Nobel Prize Winner - Penicillin, 1945. Founder Imperial College's Biochemistry Department 1964.
Erected by the Association of Jewish Refugees

The plaque was on or shortly before 10 April 2019. It was not yet on the building but on one of those easel things often used for plaque unveilings.
