This plaque is attached to one of the repaired sections of the river wall damaged in WW2 and repaired by Peirson's secret rapid response unit.

On the day this plaque was unveiled so was a restored plaque from 1948, at the other end of Olympic Way.

The brown plaque is inside the hotel lobby.  Don’t be put off by the doorman – he watched our bike for us while we popped in for the photo.
