Inscription

This Crucifix was erected to mark the 125th Anniversary of the foundation of St. Aloysius' College in 1879 and blessed by Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor on the Feast of SS Peter and Paul, 2004.

The figure of Christ was donated by the Consolata Fathers following the closure of their Missionary College in Totteridge, London, N20

This memorial is in the grounds at the front of the school. Note the statue in the photograph - there is nothing on it to say but we guess it represents St Aloysius and a school-boy.
