Priming pump from Surrey Docks
This electrically driven pump was built in 1929 and worked in the Lavender Dock Impounding Station until 1969.

The Lavender Dock Pumphouse remains - it's the building straddling the water, between Lavender Pond and Rotherhithe Street. More information at A .
