Thanet House

Erection date: 2014

Inscription

Site of Thanet House, 1644 - 1882
City of London

Site: Thanet House (1 memorial)

EC2, Aldersgate Street, Shaftesbury Place

Easy to miss, this plaque can be seen in our photo, framed by the bus stop shelter. Surely a few yards to the left would have been a better location? But perhaps the shelter wasn't there when they positioned the plaque, and it's the shelter-positioners that deserve castigation.
