London unit which served in WW1.

Their  gives details about the origins of the battalion, their battle honours and how in 1937 the battalion reverted to the Queen's Royal Regiment (West Surrey), as their 7th (Southwark) Battalion. The 1st/7th and 2nd/7th Battalions served through World War Two.
