Alistair Gordon

Alistair Gordon was born in 1942, the youngest of the three children of John Gordon (1901-1988) and Elizabeth Margaret Gordon née MacIntosh (1905-1986). His birth was recorded in the 1st quarter of 1942 in the Hitchin Registration District, Hertfordshire. His two siblings were: Ian F. Gordon (1931-2014) and Alan Charles Gordon (1934-2016).

He was killed in the Moorgate tube disaster and his death was registered in the 2nd quarter of 1975 in the London City Registration District. His date of birth was shown as 'unknown'.

Probate records confirm that he died on 28 February 1975 and that his address had been 4 Canonbury Park South, London, N1. Administration of his estate was granted on 24 April 1975 and his effects totalled £44,594.

He is shown as 'GORDON, ALISTAIR' on the Moorgate tube disaster memorial in Finsbury Square, London, EC2.
