Christopher Jones

United Kingdom citizen who died in the terrorist attacks in America on 11 September 2001.

Christopher David Jones was born on 14 September 1947 in Heswall, Cheshire. He was the son of David Jones and Joan Margaret Jones née Gittens. He attended Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge University, where he graduated in 1969.

On 25 August 1970 he married Susan Bentley in Birkenhead, Cheshire, and they had two daughters Sarah and Lucy. The family went on to live in Huntington, New York, USA.

He was a partner in the American financial services firm of Cantor Fitzgerald and died, aged 53 years, on 11 September 2001 in their offices that were located on the 101st to 105th Floors of the North Tower, 1 World Trade Centre, Manhattan, New York, USA.
