Knight failed to write any acclaimed odes but, unlike Keats, went on to work at Guy's throughout his career as a consultant physician with a special interest in chest diseases and breast cancer. A Keats fan, he was active in the Keats' Society at Guy's and promoted the idea of a Keats statue at the hospital.
