E. E. Finch

Bethnal Green Borough Engineer in 1909.

From : "Mr. E. E. Finch, the engineer of the City of London, has, with the consent of the committee under which he works, joined his Majesty's Forces".

We know he survived both world wars because the sales details of a gives: "ARTIST/CARTOGRAPHER/ENGRAVER: From the Ordnance Survey. EE Finch F.S.I. M.Inst. C.E., City Engineer." Since we have no image of Finch we are delighted to use the map instead.

Assuming this is the same man we must have captured him at the beginning and end of his career.
