Edward Stafford, 3rd Duke of Buckingham

Born Wales. His father was executed by Richard III. Buckingham was part of the court of Henry VII and Henry VIII but his Plantagenet heritage made Henry suspicious of him and so following a trial he was beheaded on Tower Hill.

Note: He was the 3rd Duke of the 1444 creation. The Dukeship (?) has been created 4 times - we know you don't want to know all this, but since we have other Buckinghams on LondonRemembers we had to investigate so you might as well know too.
