Joseph Allen Baker

Engineer and politician. Born at Maple Ridge Farm in Trenton, Ontario. He came to London in 1878 and with his brothers, established a company specialising in machinery for the confectionery and bakery industries (which adds them to the nominative determinist club).

As an M.P. he represented Finsbury East from 1885 to 1918. Father of Philip Noel-Baker.
