King George Tupou V

Former king of Tonga. His full name was Siaosi Tāufaʻāhau Manumataongo Tukuʻaho Tupou V. Educated in New Zealand, Britain and Switzerland and trained at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. He succeeded his father Tupou IV in 2008 and relinquished most of his powers in order to make Tonga more democratic. Died at Queen Mary Hospital, Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong.
