1885-90 Walter Shoolbred bought land in Scotland near Evanton in the County of Ross, Scotland. Kildermorie stayed in the Shoolbred family until 1912 when it was sold, except for a small parcel of land which was retained by Rupert Shoolbred. He still owned at least a small part of it in 1942.
