A proud promoter of British heritage he campaigned for memorials to be erected, was President of Heritage Foundation, often turned up to unveil plaques, and had a very big thumb! The Heritage Foundation unveiled a plaque to Robin at his former home in Thame, on 30 September 2012; quite right too.
