Sullivan also wrote Onward Christian Soldiers and The Lost Chord, which was the first phonograph record made in the UK.

Singer, Born Sussex.  At over 6 foot she had an impressive stage presence, as a recitalist and concert singer.  She also made some gramophone recordings.  Died North Stoke, Oxfordshire.
Rock band. The group originally comprised Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree, and were central to the so-called 'Britpop' music genre. They broke up in 2003 and reformed in 2008.
