Andrew Behan has kindly provided this research: Dr William Stott, MB, BS, DPH was born on 16 June 1891. Electoral registers for 1933 and 1934 show him living with his wife, Kathleen Florence Stott, at 'Erin', Ember Lane, Thames Ditton, Surrey. They had three daughters, June D. Stott, Kathleen P. Stott and Mary L. Stott. The 1939 England and Wales Register shows him and his family living at 'Trewen', Midway, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey and lists his occupation as Medical Officer of Health, Borough of Southwark. Electoral registers from 1945 show the family living at 9 Midway, Walton-on-Thames and this was to remain his residence until he died, aged 87 years, on 10 October 1978. Probate was granted on 22 January 1979 and his estate totalled £16,623.
