Site: Michael Faraday - Larcom (1 memorial)

SE17, Larcom Street

We've moaned about this before and no doubt will do so again. There should be a rule that no plaque can be erected unless it explains why it is 'here' and not somewhere else!  Did Faraday live in a building on this site?   shows that at the time most of Walworth Road was lined with terraced housing, and here they were set back from the road, so it's perfectly possible. A clear statement on the plaque would be useful, that's all we are saying.
