Site: Holy Trinity Priory - EC3 (1 memorial)

EC3, Mitre Square, St James's Passage

This square occupies that space that was used by the cloisters of the priory. The south corner of the square is where in 1888 the body of Catherine Eddowes was found, one of Jack the Ripper's victims.

This area has been redeveloped since we visited in 2012. At that time the Holy Trinity plaque was on the north-east side of the square. We'll keep those old photos as a record of how London once was and how it's changing.
