Plaque

Nike Statue - Plaque 2

Erection date: 9/9/2012

Inscription

Nike (pronounced Neekay)
Ancient Greek goddess of victory.
Spirit of the Games sculptor, Pavlos Angelos Kougioumtzis.

We think the last line of the plaque means that Kougioumtzis is the sculptor of the Spirit of the Games, not, as we first read it that he is, himself, the Spirit of the Games who is also the sculptor.
