Reginald & Daphne Goy

Inscription

Life is eternal; and love is immortal and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight. In Memoriam,
Reginald Bland Goy, 3.1.1914 - 4.2.1977
Daphne Christine Goy, 12.4.15 - 16.9.1979

When we visited in 2004 the tree was not there. The park was undergoing some major Lottery-funded work so we thought that perhaps the tree would be replaced. But March 2005 and there is still a plaque with no tree.

The quotation comes from poem often credited to Rossiter W. Raymond.
