St Luke's West Norwood - railing replacement

Erection date: 2009

Inscription

These railings were completed in 2009 to replace the original railings which were removed at the beginning of the Second World War.

Site: St Luke's Church - West Norwood (4 memorials)

SE27, Norwood High Street, 13

In our photo the railing replacement plaque can just be seen on the low wall to the left of the steps. The Memorial Garden plaque is on the other side of the steps but is almost obscured by foliage. The panels with the WW1 list of names are behind the two central columns of the peristyle, and the war memorial cross is to the left of the white van.
